Braised Pork Belly with Ginger and Soy Sauce

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Boil some water in non-stick pan, put pork belly in the pan, and stir in medium-low heat until pork belly start to turn white.

  2. Add onion, garlic and ginger in the pan, and stir everything well.

  3. Add soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar in the pan.

  4. Add water to barely cover meat, when water starts to boil, add mushroom and stir everything.

  5. Turn to low heat to simmer, cover with a lid, and continue braising for about 35 minutes.

  6. Take the lid off, turn to high heat, stir it untilĀ  liquid evaporate and get thicken sauce.

  1. Add pepper and mix well.

  1. Most delicious! Chinese style vinegar pork. I had this first when we visited Malaysia. Zanzan replicated it perfectly.
