Room-Temperature Eggs
- Grab a pan with a lid and add about 1 cm of water.
- Place the eggs inside, cover with the lid, and turn the heat to medium-high. Start a 4-minute timer immediately.
- Once the timer goes off, turn off the heat and let the eggs sit in the residual steam for another 4 minutes.

Chilled-Eggs
- Grab a pan with a lid and add about 1 cm of water.
- Place the eggs inside, cover with the lid, and turn the heat to medium-high. Start a 5-minute timer immediately.
- Once the timer goes off, turn off the heat and let the eggs sit in the residual steam for another 4 minutes.
The normal way

- Bring water to a boil. (Ensure there is enough water to cover the eggs completely.)

Once the water is boiling, turn down the heat a little, and gently place the egg into the pan.
- Start a 7-minute timer.
